n days gone by, earth, water, hands and fire were all used in the artisanal making of vases, cookware and tiles. Today, these same ingredients are central to Marazzi’s industrial output, and create unique, rich, surfaces steeped in memories. The intentionally generous thicknesses, the uneven edges and the flawed and extremely glossy surface all explicitly reference hand-made ceramics as the inspiration.
